Daniel R. DeNicola
Welcome to my personal website! My career of 50 years is evenly split between two liberal arts colleges: Rollins (FL) and Gettysburg (PA). It included serving as Provost for a decade at each, and was happily punctuated with visiting appointments and rare sabbaticals. My degrees are from Ohio University and Harvard. My philosophical interests range widely but are usually connected to the "three Es": ethics, epistemology, and education. You can find my books and other publications on this website. My teaching has an audaciously wide range — a benefit of small college appointments. I currently serve on the editorial board of the Journal of Human Cognition.
Current Projects
The second edition of Moral Philosophy: A Contemporary Introduction is in the final stages of production. I am currently proofing the Index, revising to new page numbers." It is scheduled for publication before September. Also, I am following up on some recent commentary about my work on ignorance and framing the next project.
